Dr Khurram is the founder and director of iVision Lab. He is working as Professor and heading the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. He obtained his PhD in Computer Vision from Paris Descartes University, France. He is also one of the founding members of Pakistan Pattern Recognition Society affiliated with IAPR. In addition, he is the Project Manager of iCube, small satellite CubeSat program and Editor of Journal of Space Technology, an HEC recognized annual peer-reviewed journal.

Research Interests: Computer Vision, Hyperspectral Image Analysis, Document Analysis, Machine Learning, Satellite Imaging Payload Design

Tayyaba is a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. She received her Master's degree in Data Science from FAST-NUCES . She has done research work on medical image processing 

 

Research Interests: NLP , Medical Image Processing Deep Learning .

Dr Sajid is working as Associate Professor in the Geospatial Research and Education Lab (GREL), Space Science department at the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. He received his PhD in Photogrammetry from Vienna University of Technology, Austria. 

 

Research Interests: Photogrammetry, Machine Learning, Remote Sensing and Satellite Image Analysis

Dr Benish is working as Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. She received her PhD in Software Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad.

 

Research Interests: Image matting, Segmentation

Dr Komal is working as Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. She received her PhD in Software Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad.

 

Research Interests: Feature extraction, Information retreival

Dr Syed Ali Irteza is working as Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. He received his PhD in Signal Processing from Hanyang University, South Korea.

 

Research Interests: Compressive Sensing, Deep Learning

Dr Madiha is working as Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. She received her PhD in Computer engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIK).

 

Research Interests: Evolutionary Computing, Data Analysis and Deep learning

Jaleed is an adjunct researcher at iVision Lab, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department, Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the Data Science Institute, University of Galway, Ireland. He has a Master's degree in Signal and Image Processing from Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UET Peshawar.  He is also a core member of Pakistan Pattern Recognition Society, an official IAPR society in Pakistan.

Research Interests: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Hyperspectral Image Analysis, Event Processing.

Asad is an adjunct researcher at iVision Lab, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department, Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the Data Science Institute,University of Galway, Ireland. He has a Master's degree in Computer System Engineering from GIK Institute and a Bachelor's degree System Engineering from UET Peshawar. He is also a core member of Pakistan Pattern Recognition Society, an official IAPR society in Pakistan.

Ammara is a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. She received her Master's degree in Data Science from NED University of Engineering and Technology and Bachelor's degree in CIS(Computer and information systems)from the same University.She has done research work on Urdu OCR and Context aware recommendation systems.
